How to Donate Books to the Shuang Wen Library

Thank you for your interest in donating books to the Shuang Wen library!

Before bringing anything in, send a list of titles and a photo of the covers to library@shuangwenpa.org. The librarian will check what fits the collection, which saves you carrying in books we cannot shelve. 

We also keep a wishlist of books we are actively looking for—please let us know if you’re able to fulfill one (or more!) of these requests.

How to use the wishlist:

1. Open the list (Google Sheet)

2. Pick a book marked “Needed.” Change its status to “Claimed” and add your first name and the date.

3. If an ISBN is listed, please donate that edition.

4. Drop the book off in the PA room in the bin marked “Library Donation.” 

If we don’t receive the books two weeks after it’s been marked “Claimed,” we will revert it back to “Needed,” unless alternate arrangements have been made.

A few guidelines: 

• Hardcover where possible

• New or like-new

• No stickers or labels from other libraries or organizations

• No writing in the pages
